Microchipping is required for all dogs, with the exception of working farm dogs. Cats are not required to be microchipped but we would still recommend doing this.

Microchips are placed under the skin of your pet at the back of the neck. This is a small electronic tag about the size of a grain of rice. Each microchip has a unique number which is recorded in a centralised database so whenever you pet is scanned it can be identified and the owner details are available. Our staff will update the database with your contact details and your pet’s microchip number once the microchip has been inserted. This way your pet can be returned safe and sound should they ever get lost.
