A Wet Editorial
A WET EDITORIAL
This is a very wet editorial, not only is it pouring with rain, but as I type in my clumsy 2 occasionally 4 bloody fingered way, water is dripping from my hair and rubbing off the sleeves of my jersey.
The stark black letters on the white Word screen though has none of the character of hand writing penned under adverse conditions. Most times an out-call to a farm animal or horse is fun, gets us out of the clinic into a bit of fresh air but today was wet, really wet.
Neither the red umbrella which of course the horse took exception to nor my coat which was better could keep the rain out. I examined the very wet and sore mare, took some blood and then retreated to the shed to do the wet and blotchy paper work.
The needle prick in my finger reminds me that I had better clean the keyboard......
